Always ask what utilities are actually included
Signed a place that said utilities included, turned out that meant water only. Hydro added about $90 a month I wasn't expecting. Get it in writing before you sign.

Building review: great location, slow maintenance
Love being walking distance to everything in Hintonburg. Downside is maintenance requests take a while. Reported a leaky tap and it took almost two weeks. Otherwise happy here.

Tip: check the LTB rent increase guideline before you renew
For rent-controlled units in Ontario there's a yearly guideline cap. If your increase is above it and your unit is covered, that's worth questioning. Saved me a chunk this year.
